Growing into a leader

John Evrigenis and Josh Noll

Jesuit High School is a place where young men mature and develop into the future generation of leaders.

Kencell Nixon ’15, a scholar, varsity football player and Jesuit alumni, has shown his positive leadership skills as the former Student Body President of Jesuit High School. Jesuit has provided Kencell with support that will help him pursue his dreams.

“Jesuit High School provides many opportunities that are made accessible to me. There are so many young men that can help you make your future happen and achieve […] goals. At Jesuit, there is brotherhood and love that is shared within everyone, so you can connect with […] every student,” Mr. Nixon said.

Mr. Nixon works at Jr. Academics Plus because he loves and wants to be part of  everything that this school has to offer.

Mr. Nixon is planning on going to Southern Methodist University in Dallas, Texas this fall. He doesn’t think that he chose to go to S.M.U., but it chose him. Nixon is hoping that all of his motivation will pay off at S.M.U.

“[I hope] to not disappoint the people that have believed in me and helped me along the way. I feel like so many people have given me their time, love, and patience over the years, and I feel as if I owe them success,” Mr.Nixon said.
