Rapper Dies Being Shot 64 Times After Being Released From Chicago Jail
Chicago Rapper, Londre Sylvester, on stage known as KTS Dre, has tragically died in what police call, an “ambush”, just outside of Cook County Jail in Chicago. He had 64 bullet wounds in his upper body and head. He had just been released from jail and had been wearing a monitoring device while the event happened.
Witnesses said that Sylvester had been attacked by two armed men who assaulted him. It’s said the two men had stepped out of a vehicle and started to shoot Sylvester with firearms that they had in their possession.
Londre was rushed to Mount Sinai hospital and died just before 9:30 p.m. on Saturday. Londre’s family was notified about his death on Saturday.
A 60-year-old woman, who was also injured in the shooting, suffered a leg wound, but Stroger Hospital says she is in good condition right now.
A 30-year-old woman had a bullet graze the side of her face, and she is recovering well.
