Opinion: Students should get a longer weekend

I think that students should get a longer weekend to help them get good grades and have a better future.

I think that students should have a longer weekend because it will help with their sleep and their grades. The University Health Service says: “Many students give up sleep to get good grades, but research shows that students who sleep more get better grades.” So if you let your students sleep in it will affect the status of their grades, just let them sleep and sit back and watch.

It is also a good idea to have a longer weekend because your student can catch up on unfinished or work that is due, so when your student comes back they will feel better because they don’t have to rush to finish something and make it terrible.

I know how it feels to go in unprepared for something then get a bad grade, it SUCKS. Students asking around longer weekends will help you feel better, not only that of your teachers.

You ever come back from a weekend and your teacher looks exhausted? Well, teachers, this is for you too. Not only will your students feel ready and refreshed, you will too.

All this is just the beginning. What else can you do on a weekend that’s longer? Think of the possibilities you can hang out with your friends, play with your animals or clean up the house!

This is why you should have a longer weekend! It will help your students’ grades and help their future!
