Preparing for the heat

California has just begun suffering a huge heatwave during the summer which started June 14 and is expected to last until at least June 20 and maybe even into the next week.

Some cities such as Elk Grove are taking some precautions so its citizens are safe from the heat.

One of the precautions Elk Grove took was building a cooling center for the homeless and those walking along the street who can’t handle the heat.

Some cities near Sacramento such as Rancho Cordova, Folsom, Rocklin, Woodland, and Citrus Heights also built cooling buildings.
