NBA free agency in New York

This time around in free agency we have a lot of NBA stars available, but the two teams most affected are those in New York. Both of the rosters for the New York Knicks and the Brooklyn Nets would be different if not for a ruptured achilles. In the NBA finals, game 6 Kevin Durant has the ball coming back from an injured knee, when all of a sudden he goes down. That’s when he ruptured his Achilles. “The Knicks were not ready to offer KD (Kevin Durant) a max deal of a four year, $164 million contract because of concerns about his injury.” Knicks sources say.

Now is where it gets interesting. Since the Knicks didn’t sign KD because of his injury, if he wasn’t injured the Knicks would have given him the max deal. And as some people know KD and All-Star point guard Kyrie Irving have wanted to play on the same team and have a great connection. Now this next one I’m not totally sure about this last one, but if Kyrie and KD were on the Knicks, then I would guess that Anthony Davis would also join them. Theoretically, the Knicks could have been the new dynasty.
