Vontaze Burfict and Antonio Brown played against each other in a 2015 wild card  game. That’s when Burfict knocked Brown out of the playoffs with an illegal hit to the head during a pass play in the fourth quarter. He received an NFL suspension and left Antonio Brown with a serious concussion.

Now the two enemies will share the same locker room because they have both signed with the Raiders. Vontaze has told reporters “He’s a great player, he’s gonna be a Hall of Famer one day, and honestly I’m gonna approach him just like I do all my other teammates. I’ll introduce myself, all that good stuff. There’s nothing negative over here, man. We’re on the same team, everything’s about trying to win a championship over here.” so it seems that the relationship between the two players isn’t all bad.

Now the Raiders are going to be on Hard Knocks, the show where they film the training camp before the season. So everyone will get an inside look at the relationship. The Raiders really need to keep these players on their roster to have a successful season so the team will probably do there best to either separate them or strengthen their relationship. So we’ll just have to wait and see what comes out of this rivalry.
