You may have heard of the 2018 NBA draft.

Deandre Ayton is predicted to be the number one pick. if so, he will be picked by the Phoenix Suns. Other players rounding out the top players in the draft include Mohamed Bamba, Luka Doncic, and Marvin Bagley III.

“The number one player in the draft would be Mohamed Bamba or Michael Porter Jr. if he could stay healthy all season,” said Academics Plus Camper Bryce Taylor.

With his brother already playing for the Lakers, where will Liangelo Ball go?

“Michael Porter is an exceptionally talented pick, but just how bad his potential injury may or may not be could scare away some potential NBA teams,” according to Academics Plus Newspaper teacher Mr. Pavelchik.

Another question is, who will be the King’s draft? Will they take the obvious pick of Luka Doncic, or will they go for Michael Porter Jr? With the Draft already over and DeAndre Ayton going number one, there are no more people to draft until next year.

According to Taylor,“ The Kings should have picked Mo Bama at #2 because he’s a tall player and the Kings need a player just like that.”

These are the the top ten picks of the NBA draft. Michael Porter Jr. got drafted by the Nuggets slipping to the #14 spot do to his injuries. This draft was an exciting one and very surprising one. Now we will see if these players for the right pick for the team they have been drafted to.
