Jesuit’s new stadium

Jesuit High School’s stadium is a new home.

The Hanson McClain Advisors stadium will be home to football, lacrosse, track and field, and sometimes rugby and soccer. The new stadium is due to open towards the end of July, and a lot is excited.

“It’s awesome,” said Fr. David Suwalsky, S.J., President of Jesuit High School.

“It opens lots of opportunities [for athletics],” said Mr. Greg Harcos, Athletic Director of Jesuit.

Jesuit wants top-notch facilities to attract people to the school for athletics.

The sports teams are going to have to adjust to the turf. The turf will let them play in the rain. Also, the turf is a “faster surface” than grass.  The teams cannot wait to play.

“The players are very excited to play on the new field,” said Mr. Greg Harcos.

Jesuit’s new stadium will be great for all the teams that will use it now and in the future.

“I am grateful beyond words for the generosity of Jesuit High School’s benefactors who shared their resources with our community and made this project possible,” said Fr. Suwalsky.
