A test for the Trojans

This Wednesday, on Nov.  12, Jesuit High School plays their third soccer playoff game against Oak Ridge High School at Jesuit. This game is the semifinal for the San Joaquin Section Title.

After dominating Woodcreek High School and defeating Bella Vista High School High School, Jesuit hopes to have the same result with Oak Ridge.

Oak Ridge won their last game against Pitman High School High School and look to continue their streak. This game will be a tough test for the Marauders. They still hope to redeem themselves after last year’s dramatic fall to Granite Bay High School High School in the finals.

Jesuit’s record is currently 24-1-1, while Oak Ridge’s record is 13-4-1. However, records mean little when it comes to play-offs, and Jesuit may have to meet today’s challenge without their super sophomore, Lucas Churchill, who was injured in the  game against Bella Vista. Lucas has played a large part in the Marauder’s success this season.

The team hopes to play their best against Oak Ridge, and they know that they need to play their best to achieve victory.
